Sabrina is a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from UC Merced, driven by a passion for sustainability and conservation. Originally from San Diego, she always felt a deep connection to the environment, which inspired her academic and professional journey. During Sabrina's time at UC Merced, she conducted research on weather impacts and floral diversity in the unique Merced vernal pools, exploring the intricate relationships between ecosystems and environmental factors. This hands-on experience, coupled with her studies equipped her with skills in environmental impact assessment, data analysis, and sustainable practices. Sabrina aspires to tackle environmental challenges, promote sustainable practices, and contribute to conservation efforts that benefit both ecosystems and communities. She is thrilled to be part of Earth Discovery Institute and looks forward to supporting our mission through science education and community engagement. In her free time, Sabrina enjoys tide pool exploring, hiking, working out, and spending time with her family.
