Joseph (he/him) recently received his bachelor’s degrees in biology and theatre arts, focusing on botany and plays that promote scientific fields. After getting familiar with southern Utah and Mojave plant life, learning about San Diego native plants and non-profits in the arts and conservation has been his top priority. Joseph believes art and the outdoors are a public good and deserve to be enjoyed by everybody. Learning about EDI’s role in conservation education has certainly got him excited to be a part of their internship program this winter and spring!
