Director and Outreach Coordinator
Cathy has 38 years directing and coordinating non-profit community organizations and projects related to health and the environment. She has extensive experience in curriculum development for both children and adults, as well as with program development, grant writing, volunteer recruitment and multi-agency coordination
Ms. Vicky, as she is affectionately known by her students, has over 13 years of experience in youth environmental education program including positions as lead teacher and education coordinator. She is experienced in developing and implementing curriculum and lesson plans, program budgeting, staff scheduling, and coordinating with schools/districts. She is experienced in working with Special Needs students and is bilingual (English and Spanish).
Education and OUtreach Program associate
A zoologist by education and journalist by occupation, Duffy, as she is known, has a wide array of science research, writing, field, and teaching experience including data collection and knowledge of a wide variety of flora and fauna. Duffy also has worked as a scientific illustrator and magazine editor in chief, managing staff and overseeing content, production and printing. Duffy is also an active naturalist guide for San Diego Natural History Museum.
