Join the Earth Discovery Institute for a presentation on Mountain Lions in San Diego County by Robin Parks, Field Representative for the Mountain Lion Foundation.

Tuesday, April 25, 2017; 5:30-7:30pm, Rancho Jamul Ecological Reserve, 14715 Campo Road, Jamul, CA 91935

Mountain lions are the top native predator in our regional ecosystem. But their survival isn’t assured as they struggle to adapt in our increasingly ‘human-centric’ region. What role do they play in the ecosystem? What would be the impact of losing them? Should we fear them? Can lions and humans comfortably co-exist?

The Mountain Lion Foundation is a national nonprofit organization protecting mountain lions and their habitat. Robin Parks is a retired NCIS Special Agent. He specializes in training law enforcement about smart and safe responses to situations involving mountain lions.
