NATIVE PLANT SALE at Rancho Jamul Ecological Reserve

Join the EARTH DISCOVERY INSTITUTE, Saturday, October 5, from 7:30am to 1:30pm for our annual Native Plant Sale fundraiser at Rancho Jamul Ecological Reserve (14715 State Highway 94, Jamul, CA 91935). A wide array of plants that are native to Southern California and water wise will be available. A consortium of gardeners and botanists will be on hand to answer questions and help you pick the perfect plants for your property.

If you don’t want to purchase native trees, drought tolerant shrubs, and fragrant and flowering pollinator attracting plants, come down and see the Old Daley Ranch and meet the Earth Discovery Institute team and partners. Learn about EDI’s programs that work to support the habitat, local youth and the community.

BELOW is the list of native plants that will be available at our sales:

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PRE-ORDERS:

Pre-ordering is a good way to know you'll get the plant you want. Pre-orders will be accepted for orders of $100 or more. Orders must be placed before September 16, 2019. Send your order in an email to info@earthdiscovery.org. Please include your name, phone number and email address, and the plant's scientific name, quantity and price when ordering. For large numbers of plants, a credit card may be requested to hold the order. You get a 10% discount on your pre-order!

Note: We do not include native grasses and cacti at our sales, and many cultivars, hybrids or unique varieties, but we can often pre-order them if the growers have them available, so please ask.

We do not deliver, so you will have to pick your plants up at Crestridge Ecological Reserve or Rancho Jamul Ecological Reserve during or after the sales. All plants must be picked up before the October 5 sale at Rancho Jamul.

Contact Mary Duffy: duffy@earthdiscovery.org if you have any questions or wish to access the order form as an Excel spreadsheet.
