Join the EARTH DISCOVERY INSTITUTE and friends, Saturday, September 29, from 7:30am to 1:00pm at the Rancho Jamul Ecological Reserve and Historic Daley Ranch for our annual Native Plant Sale. A wide array of plants that are native to Southern California and water wise will be available. A consortium of local gardeners and botanists will be on hand to answer questions pertinent to growing in San Diego's East County and help you pick the perfect plants for your property.
This is your chance to locally purchase native trees, drought tolerant shrubs, and fragrant and flowering pollinator attracting plants! All while supporting EDI's outreach and education programs.
BELOW is the list of native plants that will be available at our sales.
Note: This is the second of our two sales and sometimes certain species have sold out and are no longer available:
INSTRUCTIONS FOR PRE-ORDERS:
Pre-ordering is a good way to know you'll get the plant you want. Pre-orders will be accepted for orders of $100 or more. Orders must be placed before September 14, 2018. Send your order in an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your name, phone number and email address, and the plant's scientific name, quantity and price when ordering. For large numbers of plants, a credit card may be requested to hold the order
Note: We do not include native grasses and cacti at our sales, but we can often pre-order them if the growers have them available, so please ask.
We do not deliver, so you will have to pick your plants up at Crestridge Ecological Reserve or Rancho Jamul Ecological Reserve during or after the sales. We will not keep plants for more than a few days after the the Sept 29 sale at Rancho Jamul.
Contact Mary Duffy: email@example.com if you have any questions.
