Native grasslands were once one of California’s common habitats, now, they make up less than 5% of the state's natural environment. Efforts are underway at Rancho Jamul Ecological Reserve to build a ‘farm’ of native grasses that will serve as a seed source for grasslands restoration throughout the region. Volunteer to help us get more of these native bunch grasses into the ground. This event takes place on both Friday (June 16) and Saturday (June 18) mornings. Come for either or both! Wear a hat and sturdy shoes. Tools, refreshments and snacks provided. 14715 Campo Road, Jamul, CA 91935. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
